requirement for hard coatings and tintable coatings for plastic and
polycarbonate lenses. Today, LTI is a world leader in ophthalmic
hard coatings with a major market share of the optical laboratory
market and has received two Awards of Excellence from the Optical
Laboratories Association for best in class coating equipment.
LTI has an extensive and experienced technical staff that is able
to provide qualified coating development and support. In addition,
LTI has a staff of mechanical personnel for design and support of
coating application equipment.
